| CURRENT PROJECTS: NATIONAL CIVIC EDUCATION PROGRAMME , Democracy And Human Rights Fund PROJECT HISTORY: 1980 Initiated the formation of the first National Art Gallery and did murals and art works for the inauguration. 1981 Initiated and organised ‘Utamaduni wa Sanaa” The first National Arts Festivals. 1981 Commissioned to do a mural for UN Headquarters in New York by the Kenya Government 1982 Did murals for The Catholic Church in the Maralal Diocese 1983 Commissioned to do a Mural for State House, Nairobi 1985 Involved in the development of first innovative family planning campaigns with Family Planning Association of Kenya (FPAK). 1987 Designed and participated in the production of the family planning calendar and posters with FPPS. 1988 Designed and participated in the production of AIDS IEC materials for Uganda with AMREF 1989 Designed and participated in the production of posters, brochures and calendar on Soil Conversation Campaign with KENGO 1990 Did murals and art works for the newly refurbished Severin Hotel Mombasa 1991 Participated in the production of posters and calendars on AIDS with FPPS 1991 Initiated and participated in the Africa Explore Exhibition in New York 1992 Initiated and produced the family health murals in the private sector with FPPS 1993 Initiated and participated in the first African Art Festival in United Kingdom 1994 Did murals and artworks for refurbished Sixty-Eight Hotel, Nairobi. 1995 Did murals and supplied artworks for the newly refurbished Grand Regency Hotel, Nairobi 1996 Participated in the production of IEC materials for Family Health with Ministry of Health 1997 Initiated AIDS IEC campaign materials for Southern Sudan with NCA 1998 Initiated and held the first National Art Against AIDS Competition and Exhibition with KENCO 1998 Did AIDS murals in bars in Kiambu and Lari districts in a pilot project sponsored by USA/FHI 1998 Introduced AIDS Billboards and training charts for Southern Sudan with NCA 2000 Did Community and School murals in Mombasa, Nakuru and Western Kenya. The Project is funded by USAID through Family Health International (FHI) and Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH) 2001 Implementing Behaviour Change Communication Initiative (BCCI) on HIV&AIDS in South Sudan with Norwegian Church Aid (NCA). 1999-2001 IMPACT PROJECT. The project was implemented between through use of murals while partnering with other organisations. The design of the project was to combat audience fatigue with AIDS messages through a creation of community dialogue on the risk for HIV/AIDS and risk messages. 2001-2002 HAPAC PROJECT. Funded by the DFID through Futures Group Europe focusing on behaviour change in Rift Valley, Nyanza, Siaya
